It IS easy being green!

Leave it up to resourceful people like scrapbook store owners to come up with an idea that is not only good for the environment, but also saves customers money and facilitates some summer fun!!!

Okay, that's all the back-patting and high-fiving I'm going to do =), because we know you've been anxiously awaiting our announcement about The Sisterhood of the Traveling Scrapbooker! On Saturday, May 30th, our four stores will begin selling GREEN shopping bags that will each contain a coupon book and flyer detailing this summer's specials. The bag sells for $3.99, or you can receive one FREE with a product purchase of $50 or more. (But this Saturday only, the first FIVE customers who spend $10 or more receive the bag free!) There are coupons for each of the four participating stores, for each month of the summer. There are also incentives to shop at each store, including freebies, discounts, and gift card drawings! Limit one bag per customer, and when they are gone, they're gone!

We're open from 10 till 4 on Saturday. Come see us!

Wednesday Updates

I know, the title is lame...my blog mojo is tired today...but anyway--

Our Referral Contest continues through this Saturday! Send in a new customer whom you've told about the store and you will each be entered in a drawing for a $50 gift certificate!

All clearance merchandise is 50% off this week! We've received lots of new goodies, so we've added a good bit to the clearance section. I've noticed our holiday section is a little crowded, so 25% off all holiday papers and embellishments for the rest of the week too!

We're almost halfway to our goal of 50 blog followers! When we reach that point, there will be a special treat for our blog readers, so keep watching....

We've had a few cancellations for our Friends Retreat (in Springville) the weekend of June 5th through 7th. If you're interested, call the store for info: 205-629-0815.

Jitterbug! No, wait--it's Doodlebug!

NEW, glittery, yummy Doodlebug is in! (Middle-age check...in my head I'm singing "Doodlebug! You put the boom-boom into my heart...You send my soul sky-high when your lovin' starts"). I know--that was probably a geek check too, actually...but I digress!

I neglected to give a deadline for participation in the Scrapbook Goodies Yard sale on June 12th and 13th--I'm sorry! If you are bringing items, I need to know by Wednesday, June 10th. The items should be tagged with a price and your name and at the store by Thursday morning, June 11th. You'll receive store credit for any items sold. You can call, e-mail, come by, or leave a comment here if you are participating. =)
